My brother works for a company that produces expensive industrial pumps. Each one sells for about 20k-30k dollars. A Chinese company bought one, but never used it. They copied it and now sell to their international customers for half the price.

This happened with us. I work at a housewares manufacturer. Some Chinese guy ordered two of every product, took them to China, copied it and now sells knock offs at half price.

What the hell is this about? Two of my Chinese friends used to always smell like moth balls back in high school, until collective teasing got to them and they presumably removed every moth ball from their homes. Me, I've never used moth balls, so maybe it's an HK thing. Do you?
