I vote for the jester hat--it says "fop" most to me.

the butterfly is super lol, tho.

I don't think top hat works well on a tabard in practice.

plus, we don't want the same tabard as the PA guild: http://www.penny-arcade.com/docs/gabe/dudefella1.jpg

I'm idlin in Org now by the bank, I'll try to gather sigs tomorrow.

<The Foppish Dandies> shall live

still transferring crap to my hdd

i'll be online later though when the realms come back up

I'm TIRED of the belf starting area. Ghostlands are boring, and I've done enough quests there. Where should a lv22 go next?

Where is Blackfathom and is it loot friendly, too.

maybe if spirit gave REAL boosts to mana regen it might be viable, or if it helped spell resistance significantly but as it is it is fuckall worthless for EVERYONE yes EVERYONE even and especially priests

what can spirit do for me that int/sta can't do in alternate and vastly more useful form

Spirit ONLY becomes useful if you are raiding and have enough healers on rotation that you can sit out for 45-60 seconds and get your mana back. but with the move from 40->25 man content, that's a lot less likely nowadays.

Low-level Spirit is unfathomably worthless. It's okay for Holy Priests who have taken the talent that converts Spirit to mana regen and/or +healing, but even then...INT INT INT INT INT

Quote from: Forgotten Ancient
What does int. do besides increase spell crit %?

Int increases your mana pool and is tied to your spell crit.  That's it unless you have a talent that increases damage and healing or mana regen based on it.

Quote from: Synthesizer Patel

You don't need a rotation to take advantage of spirit as a healer.  There's plenty of time to get outside the 5 second rule and regen during most boss fights as long as healing assignments are handled intelligently.  On a fight like High King Maulgar, for example, you'll have 2 healers on the main tank during most of the fight (there are 5 mobs to kill so tanking/healing is spread out).  He does light damage most of the time with heavy spikes.  A paladin can flash heal most of the light damage and a priest can back the paladin up by keeping renew on the tank and casting and canceling (if no spike occurs) high rank greater heals.  The priest will get quite a few regen ticks in during the fight doing this and always have a big heal ready to land just after a spike.  Priests with a high amount of spirit can get over 400 mp5 if they get outside the 5 second rule (and 30% of that while casting).  Arcane mages (especially in 2.4) and Resto Druids can also benefit from spirit.  Also, innervate is based off spirit.

Pre-BC itemization does completely suck, though.

The highest DPS mages in T5 gear are Arcane mages (or was, at least, not sure if 2.3 changed that).  The arcane tree has a big advantage in spell hit and threat reduction but takes intelligent arcane blast rotations.

WTF prole get spirit gear! :o having a bunch of spirit gear and spirit tap will regenerate most of your mana before you can start a new fight - the key to this is really to have a good wand, cause if you start wanding your mana will start regenerating before the fight is over so you'll take full advantage of spirit tap. this is without a doubt the easiest way to level a priest up until outlands.
