Currently: $9.50/hr doing fuck all. It consists mostly of putting labels on packages of food while standing in one spot. The upside is that since I stand in one spot, it gives me a legitimate chance to ogle the nubile young college girls that walk by and shop for goods. The downside is that the uniform I wear makes me look stupid, limiting my looks to simply looking. Sometimes I just wear a nice shirt, tie, and slacks and I tend to get away with it as long as management is not around.
This summer, I'll be interning for a power company for $17.25/hr updating its natural gas network using AutoCAD. Mostly just verifying if valves are where they say they are, checking 400-500 small stations (getting paid 49 cents a mile to drive on top of pay) and making sure it is all up to date. I'm told it will be boring work but for $17.25/hr as a college student plus driving compensation, I'm more than happy to work at this job.
