All the talk of the reprint made me bust out my copy. Just beat the Matador, on to Ikebukuro.

PS2 version. One of my favorite PS2 games and the port release reminded me that I have yet to finish it. Just beat the sunken ship. Looks funkin' beautiful upscaled on the PS3.

I'm never not working on a playthrough of Ninja Gaiden. Beat this game silly and I still like it just as much as I did the day I played the demo for the original version.

PS2 version was great. Okami apparently sux with waggle but it still gets good scores so all the fuk morans that said it would be better on Wii dont have to eat as much crow. Devs said it wasnt a good fit for the waggle, but people WAH WAH in the Nintendo camp and they get their lesser port. Grats

The millions of little loading screens when going from place to place, loading stalls when you open chests, loading screens in fights in Tairon, and loading at save points bother the shit out of me to no end. It's a mindfuck that the game doesn't run as well as Black. It's also easier.
On the other hand, I've warmed up to Rachel (she's not bad as a character, but her missions are devoid of enemies, aside from the ones with 60 fiend challenges.) The new/remixed environments and missions are a nice touch too.

I don't like it as much as black, but it's not a bad substitute at all.

There is a whole mountain of crow waiting to be eaten...but there's all these excuses. "Oh, it doesn't control well or look as good...BUT you can skip dialogue, wii am superior!"

Rachel 3 chapters in the story mode are boring but you won't have any trouble with her till that extra mission where you fight

I don't get why people would want to skip the cutscenes so bad in the first place. This isn't fucking Gradius. The combat is super-easy. All anybody plays the game for is the story and the art and both of those are in the cutscenes.

My major beef with UGnG was that each difficulty had a problem with it. Easy was for the pussies who complained about the difficulty in the previous entries. Normal was still like attaching a Game Genie cheat to the game, still making it easy enough to just stroll right through it. And while Hard added the old "2 hits you're dead" mechanic back into the game, it upped the random factor passed the bar of being fair even for a Ghosts n' Goblins game. I guess the fans complained about it enough that Capcom released a fixed version of the game, Goku Makaimura Kai. It plays just like the arcade version having not only the 2 hits mechanic but brought back the charging magic too. On top of that, they lowered the randomness to where it's closer to the original series. The rings are still there, but it's no longer a focus. That version + memory stick install (for smooth frame rate) = most flawless version of the game.

I agree with that but did all these Wii owners really wait a few years for waggle and skippable cutscenes? I don't think they understand what Okami is all about.

I'm still working my way through Condemned 2. It's awesome thus far (up to about chapter 8 or so I think, the bowling alley). Playing it on hard which is great fun, but I get my ass kicked fairly frequently.

Also picked up Metroid Prime 3 again, about 1/3-1/2 way through.
