Day two Fed Ex is to blame it shitting i mean sitting pretty at the warehouse. Seems they sent out another game to a lot of the EB/GS stores that were suppost to be GoW. At least thats what the automated message told me. I got offered the 5 dollars off, but it only applys for the regular edition.

I mean come on EB/GS how much more can you fuck shit up. I'm still on the hunt.

I think theyre so concerned with copies being leaked and sold early they shot themselves in both feet by waiting till the last second during the HOLIDAY SEASON to ship LOTS AND LOTS OF COPIES

Well i've had issues with gamecrazy the past few months. Getting games 1-2 days after release is sorta lame.

I mean that whole guarantees me a copy stuff is bullshit, cause if I REALLY wanted a game I could get it somehow somewhere, the only thing that remains is a question of WHEN.

That's what my pre-order is for. So I sometimes toy with the idea of pre-ordering someplace else, letting them know im doing it because thier company cant get games when everyone else does. But then I remember how much I appreciate them not harassing me with stupid insider info, trying to pressure sell me, and just getting in my face in general.

I guess its a trade off. Not like I dont have shit to play as it is

One of my roommates bought the game today to play on my 360. The beauty of the game is somewhat marred by the Xbox locking up every 10 minutes. I complained to customer support and told them I should be in the extended warranty group because I'm within a week of the cutoff and it's obviously a manufacturing flaw. When they write back telling me how they'll fix it for $140 I'm switching over to the PS3 (sometime next year).

Gameznflix has it "On Order" so it should be in their service soon, I'm going to send PSU back tomorrow to open up a slot and remove any other games in my queue to make sure I get Gears and only Gears

Tommorrow Fedex is suppost to have it out the fucking door. I went ahead and went to another gamestop where i know the manager very well and asked if she would put aside a collectors edition. I'm gonna scam her employee to give me the 5 bucks off too. Cause its bullshit everyone had to wait.

Gamecrazy around here sold out in five minutes not one single copy available for non preorders. Over 200 copies holy fucking hell. I drove by one saw the delivery truck started my way around the otherside and saw the line of peeps gave the store a call and they said they were closed till they could set up a line. You know its bad when you got to close the fucking store down just to make it orderly.

I just wanna play it. But to be honest the more and more i watch Vegas videos i think its gonna be better.

The push by a week was cause Ubi made a last minute choice to make a Limited Edition of the game. So it pushed it back a few days.

It seems choppy to me, especially during some of the cutscenes. If it were on a PC, I'd have dropped the screen resolution down one notch already.

As far as playing it...it's not really my thing. But everyone who plays it here seems to love it.

Yeah, everyone has said the cutscenes are pretty choppy. Still looks glorious. Seems to be my type of game though, testosterone fueled or not. SHOOT SHIT! SHOOT REALLY PRETTY SHIT!

Holy fuck this game is nuts. I'm trying to avoid getting my ass handed to me. So i called up a friend to play with me for a little bit. Holy fuck she and i kicked some major fuckin ass. Then she had to leave me. Now i'm sad and Viz still doesnt have his copy. All i can say is that its awesome i doubted it cause of the concept but it works way too well.

Good lord you are jaded. I think you might change your mind if you had actually come home with Gears. It really is something special, and I believe it's the first true next gen game to be released. Mind blowing am total.

And not to mention the fact that you bought PSP games. For god's sake that system is dead. Just trade it in already like I did months ago. I thought Sony might actually have a strong showing with that thing for this fall but that was simply not the case. Maybe next year....or the year after that....
