I don't think that's all bad, if the Jecht fight made up for it. I never got to finish it, regrettably. Need to get back to it when I buy a PS2 again.

there's an interview (which Google can't seem to find anymore) with Tsuchida & Nakazawa, the battle designers, where they say Jecht is the actual final boss and they consider the battles after it to be part of the ending. They were planning to run the credits over them at one point. So there.

FF7 is LITERALLY unplayable for me. I bought a copy on ebay that was described as like new about a year ago because I had never played it, and the discs came all scratched up. It worked all right until I got to the part where there's a motorcycle minigame and it always glitches out for me, so I'll never be able to finish it.

The pictures were just offered as a fun addition to the review. It's one of the most jaw-droppingly ridiculous things I've ever read. Calling Aeris's death a "true tragedy", comparing FF7 to the works of Shakespeare, calling FF7 the "Venus de Milo", all the literary quotations (topped off by the quote from Cloud Strife)...

Sad to see certain people working overtime just to discredit the one who quoted the funny. smh
