Witout reading this thread, I'd just like to say I'm not thoroughly pleased with myself for finding and picking up a copy of the GC version yesterday.

Wii can go fuck itself. It can fuck itself right in the fucking pooper for not enabling widescreen on regular CRT TVs.

I get a collector copy of every Zelda game.

I know that makes me a hypocrite, but I've got a compulsion to collect the Zelda games. I wasn't planning on getting 2 GC versions of Twilight Princess, but the lack of widescreen with the Wii controls pushed me to do it. So fuck Nintendo for making me spend yet another $50 on them.

Quick question:
I'm trying to collect those bugs after just unfreezing the Zoras.

There seems to be one bug up on a cliff or something that I can't figure out how to get to at all. Anyone have a tip? Am I supposed to get it now while I'm still at the lake,? Am I supposed to leave the lake and find a passage to it from another area?

Alright, I will post impressions soon.  Drinky was kind enough to send me a Christmakuh present in the formt of the GameCube Twilight Princess.  I packed my component cables and Disposable White Guy will be lending me his GameCube and I'll shall convert the SDTV rear projection big screen in the basement into my Zelda den of sin.  Prepare you welps.

oh, I never used the Magic Armor -- there's nothing in the entire game except MAYBE the Cave of Ordeals that required it. The game is brutally easy.
