Wow, that's pretty awesome that they provide a live feed of the whole thing.  I wish I had four hours spare to watch the whole process.

Same.  I think I'll just leave it loud so I can hear it a bit as I move around the house.  But I'd like to see the last half hour or so with the process up to touchdown.

Yeah mars landings are :(. The reason success rates have gone up recently are those airbag delivery systems for pathfinder/spirit/opportunity. They require a lot less finesse. I think Landers require the thrust landing tho.

Whelp, time for dinner and more LOST!
