So the local arcade got this recently.  I previously played it at a Round One sports center, and found the game controls to be AWFUL-- it didn't feel like you have complete control of your fighter, and just felt incredibly stiff, like a 3D fighter from 1995.

But this arcade put the game in a VF5 Lindbergh cab, so it has a nice big screen, loud speakers, and better sticks.  The other arcade's cab was really shitty in comparison.  And the game felt better as a result.

I picked the Spanish fencer and instantly took to his play style; he has a lot of lunges and thrusts, plus he can go into an alternate stance and launch some combos from there.  Good stuff; the game still feels stiff, but my opinion of it has now gone from "shit" to "pretty decent."

The visuals and music in this game are  :o :o :o :o :o, BTW.  I need to find the soundtrack, it's beautiful.

This year has been huge for fighting games.  The arcades around here kinda suck though...new games and no one playing them.   :-\  No arcades around here have Arcana Heart 2, either.

well shit i'm relieved to hear that, especially since at some point it's coming to ps3 and 360.

i think i should have waited a year or two to leave japan because the economy sucks, employment is assfuck underpaid, and cool games have hit japan like mad.  *le sigh*
