So the local arcade got this recently. I previously played it at a Round One sports center, and found the game controls to be AWFUL-- it didn't feel like you have complete control of your fighter, and just felt incredibly stiff, like a 3D fighter from 1995.
But this arcade put the game in a VF5 Lindbergh cab, so it has a nice big screen, loud speakers, and better sticks. The other arcade's cab was really shitty in comparison. And the game felt better as a result.
I picked the Spanish fencer and instantly took to his play style; he has a lot of lunges and thrusts, plus he can go into an alternate stance and launch some combos from there. Good stuff; the game still feels stiff, but my opinion of it has now gone from "shit" to "pretty decent."
