The past few days were:
Original Gundam movie trilogy (I should get around to watching other Gundam series, I've only seen like four or five)
More Hajime No Ippo (awesome stuff so far)
Casshern Sins 3 (still good)
New One Piece chapter (just a lot of :punch)

i don't read the manga but the anime didn't explain anything, they didn't even fight, all they did was chat and drink.

not yet. the world government is supposedly mustering all of the shichibukai to attack whitebeard/shanks while they fight.

Either one, don't care. They clashed in the anime and split the sky, but that was about it.

the last ep was pretty sad though, poor (possibly or maybe she never learned to talk) distinguished mentally-challenged girl :(

the wait for the next dvd is already too long I should have watched it in Japanese and grabbed fansubs :/

rewatching ergo proxy.  Elu-go Plockshee.  I think Pino is the only kid character in an anime that I've liked. she's saccharine cute like any other young anime girl, but that's what makes her creepy.

watched AD Police...was alright.  needed a full series that tied all the stories together.

These Detective Conan movies are getting more crazy by the year.  He kicks a soccer ball from a small row boat up at several stories and hits a telephone to knock it off the receiver, then perfectly matches the exactly pitch of the emergency dial tone using his voice.

That's why I only really watch the movies.  I think this Music based one is the 13th movie.  This is probably one of the more bad movies there is since the case just doesn't make any sense at all.  It's like, this guy wants to explode this building so he rigs up this piano to detonate 24 bombs around it, so he has to wait for this guy to hit that note 24 times.  That's all fine and all, but then they say that they can't just tell this oblivious guy playing not to play because they saw the culprit with a remote control for the explosives...wait, what?! if he has a remote for the explosives, why would you bother going through all that work? what's worse is how they do solve this...a woman has a soprano sing off with another and wins by singing Amazing Grace.

Why are you people not watching Michiko to Hatchin?

Because I'm too busy watching Clannad After Story, ef - a Tale of Melodies, Rosario to Vampire Capu2, and Vampire Knight Guilty, that's why!  :maf

But seriously though, watching Michiko to Hatchin just makes me wish someone would finish subbing Chiko, Daughter of Twenty Faces. There's only two episodes left of that, but it's been weeks since the group released an episode.

I liked them both better than Paprika...which just seemed like a movie version of Paranoia Agent, in many ways.

theme-wise.  the idea of a whole city going insane and having a collective cathartic moment.  Though I liked Paprika better than PA, I felt like I was kinda watching the same thing but more refined and with different characters.

PA is better as a collection of stories, because it was essentially a collection of ideas. Paprika suffered from 'weird japanese ending syndrome' while Millenium Actress does not

yeah, Millenium Actress is a fine piece of cinema, classy all the way through...I need to re-watch that sometime soon.

I liked the the first part of PA the best--

when it was just stories of people in tough spots being redeemed by the bat boy and the detective chasing him.  When the other detective started having delusions of being in a videogame and then all that weird shit started happening, it became kinda hard to watch.  The show would've been better if the surrealist/metaphorical stuff was toned down.
