The first episode of Birdy was great. Charming characters, and very slick fight scenes. I want more!

Finally found the time to watch Birdy ep1. Great stuff. Very high octane animation, and the animation and art style is really good. Everything looks natural and there's lots of subtle animation but the actual style is totally exaggerated and ridiculous. Great mix. Akane continues to prove that he's a really good director, so I'm really looking forward to the rest of this.

Birdy was charming and full of life, very fun and visually interesting. Definitely a keeper.

Nuh-uh!! Anime is the greatest thing ever invented! It has great animation is always really smart, but has plenty of action as well! Ah finished some series, moving on to new ones:

The first two DVDs were released in volume 1. I never took the time to watch the entire series so its nice to grab it for so cheap on DVD. Bandai is pushing this series out FAST N HARD.

Episode 2 just hit the net and WOW. The show keeps getting better and better. It was nice to finally see a fully juiced Lina Inverse Dragon Slave. I love it when she tries to use it on someone for some mundane reason and someone has to stop her.

After four serious episodes it came outta nowhere with a funny episode. Good thing too, cause the all-serious all the time crap was starting to wear on me a bit I know Persona stuff can be funny, so do it! The budget is still holding, I hope it lasts the whole series.

Never watched this show cause people were so tard about it. Now im giving it a chance and im really digging it. Never knew it was so gory in parts lol. On episode four so far, bunch more to go.

Im gonna find time to watch metropolis this weekend, a great anime film, a treat for the eyes and ears.

FMA was awesome and the movie really ties things up. Metropolis was a good flick, I own it and have watched it several times, though not in a year or two. I will maybe watch it next week. I just watched Origin: Spirits of the Past and enjoyed it.

Watching Aeon Flux again has put me on a Peter Chung kick, and I watched Reign the Conqueror for the first time on Youtube, and I saw screw the haters, Reign is awesome. If Reign is a bad anime, then it's the best bad anime ever. After watching the first episodes, I was hooked until the end. Despite the over-the-top nature of the series, I was surprised at the amount of historical (or at least semi-historical) details that were included. It was probably at least as historically correct as some of Hollywood's attempts. Also, despite having the men fight in titanium battle thongs, it still managed to be less gay than Alexander.
