Hey hey I hate shitty console graphics but there are 3 games that I absolutely HAVE TO HAVE at some point in my life:

- Zelda: TP (GCN port suffices of course!)
- Super Mario Galaxy
- Metroid Prime 3

You know, I've simply been too busy in the past few months to really play video games at all, so I've almost entirely lost interest (outside, perhaps, of the MM9 announcement). Still, I can't help but feel slightly disappointed that Nintendo has been enthusiastically committed to producing shit in the past few years. Mario Galaxy was totally fab, but I think it was the Edge review that read something like "remember when every major Nintendo release felt like this?"

Doesn't this debacle basically prove that third party developers aren't interested in the Wii? What other explanation can you arrive at after watching Nintendo claim there are "too many" up-coming third party titles to show, therefore highlighting a Call of Duty title, another Rayman minigame title, and a Star Wars title that is going to all the consoles in some form or fashion

I'm not a big Wii fan, but there's at least two games i can think of that are more than worth playing and they both have Galax in the title.

I'm talking about capabilities, not software.

I'm not a Wii fan either (obviously), but there WERE some truly great games released for it during the last 12 months. I'm not denying that. Borys seemed to be grouping all consoles together with his "console graphics" reference. The PC is tops, but the 360 and PS3 are reasonably close to it in terms of what they can do while the Wii is of an entirely different (previous) generation.

Interest in video games reconfirmed! It sounds like they took the invisible crowd and occasional commentary in God Hand and made it a big gameplay feature in MadWorld -- I can't help but think of the MXC commentators when I hear this guy.

No doubt it's also connected to some sort of scoring system.

Oh, and how about El Gigante at the end? Man I love Clover. EDIT: I just realized too that, aside from El Gigante, the enemies did almost nothing. Hopefully they're less like DMC's puppets and more like God Hand's Tiger Joes.

Yup. Nintendo is saving the business. For those who are pissed, don't worry - gaming needs to be destroyed and rebuilt. I think that happened sometime around Microsoft got into the business and brought along all the PC fegs with them, and their official Halo urinal containers so they wouldn't have to get their ass off the couch to do things like piss.
