The only good looking aspect (not graphically) of it was that when using that gun that charges up and splits in 3 directions, you can twist your hand to make it either horizontal or vertical. That is pretty cool. Not judging on the tech here, but aesthetically this game is garbage. I think in a staff meeting someone came up with the idea to make somethings really glow bright and it ends up looking like a neon nightmare when playing it. Then he goes on to talk about how the enemy has all this texture work, but then you only see it on that monster. Your gun is hideous, the environment is bland and ugly, and the entire game looks uneven. Someone should make XIII 2 or something for the Wii. Use a unique/stylized aesthetic instead of trying to make it look like the big boy games on lesser hardware.

Reggie just has to spin whatever they decide to show. He knows about the other games in development, probably a Kid Icarus Retro game, whatever the Mario and Zelda teams are making, among other stuff but can't say. Hell, they won't even show the Mario Baseball, Wario, and Kirby games on the floor they already have announced and shown screens of.

I don't think they want any focus at all on their own actual games at E3. Especially with third party people bitching all the time Nintendo steals all the spotlight. Well, there you go companies, hardly any Nintendo games on the floor to worry about competing with for the spotlight.

I'm sure they could have scrapped up some CG for games that aren't going to come out until late next year, like Final Fantasy, God of War, etc - but they didn't bother. People wanted a realistic Zelda with Twilight Princess, then they gave it to them, revealed it a year and a half before it was even released, and by the time it was released the hype burned out. They're working on stuff, why is it important to show it off this early?

“What I can say is that typically games like that take anywhere from two to three years to finish those up,” said Miyamoto. “We do have the teams together and the teams are all working. The other thing that I can say is that in the past we haven’t really had much opportunity to release two Mario titles or two Zelda titles on a single hardware system. Our plan is to try to do that with Wii. With that in mind, the teams are working hard at this point.”"

Maybe Wii Music and Wii Fit are part of their plan to make Animal Crossing and Wii Sports look hardcore.

Better look at the UI, I just notice here that there's tabs at the bottom. May not be as bad as I thought. Ah! And there's even a photo tab. I was actually thinking how perfect it would be if AC had something like Brawl's photo system when I was playing Wild World a few weeks back, and according to Eguchi, we'll be able to send these pictures to Wii Message Boards, PCs, and cell phones. Yay for not having to use some decripting program to view photos!

The city does indeed seem larger than at first glance, you're able to go to both the right and left.

In addition, at the upper left hear you see a movie theater. Wonder what's that for? Seems maybe something like HOME's TV screens. I wouldn't be surprised if there's an arcade somewhere here where you can play VC games and demos.

FINALLY batch-selling! I have no idea why they took this out of the DS version but I'm very pleased they put it back in.

We should have Evilbore AC parties where we go to each other's towns and get makeovers and trade wallpapers.

I even called it Zanzibar, because Outer Heaven and Zanzibar Land wouldn't fit.
