Ugh, my toilet is gonna hate me. My lack of experience with drinking milk with other things than pastries is fucking me up. I did this with eggs too (about a month ago), god, whyyyyyy :(

I remember in middle school one of my buddies stuck his ass on a water jet (wild homo) in my other buddy's pool and he said he shit water for five days.

Its horrible. I have to plan around stomach tremors.

Never had problem with that combo myself.  Did they tuna fish sandwiches have tons of mayo?  Did you check the expiration on the mayonnaise bottle if you did end up using it?

i'm working out, too lately--i'm trying :-[--and i got this link in the gaf thread that eating glucose before and after your workout is good. so i did that and drank some milk to go with it. i had the runnings in the night  :'(

i used to take a couple of teaspoons of glucose per time, but i cut back on that.

blue, what do you eat before/after your workout?

The only thing I plan with my workouts and a post workout drink (usually Milk with Whey Protein mix). I've been incorporating peanut butter though, so I would just grab a spoon and a large scoop of peanut butter to eat with the drink.

Before a workout, sometimes i'll eat an apple or some fruit. Great way to get quick carbs so you'll have energy throughout the workout.

All in all though, I wouldn't worry about what you eat around your time to workout. Your body will probably be processing any protein or carbs (in regards to feeding it to the muscles) a few hours down the line. I find that eating something rich in carbs and protein in the morning is way more beneficial.

I'm psyched because I'm starting to get that V tapered upper body look. Back workouts  8)

I've been working out for 6 months now. First 4 months was every other day of the week and at month 5 I started going in every day of the week.

These past two weeks have been light though, almost a vacation. But next week I'll be hitting it hard again.

The main thing is to weightlift and do some light cardio. You don't even have to do 30 minute jogs everyday. I've persona lost a lot of my chubby look just from working out and cutting out drinking Soda daily.

I really need to stick with jogging though. Instead of being chubby, I now have that "Bulky Bodybuilder" look, which is freakin awesome when compared to how I looked before  :'( . I'm sure if I stay on a jogging regimen, I can burn off a good amount of my bodyfat.

i don't jog. i just use the fitness bike or whatever it's called. but jogging is probably better for me because i'm in the worse shape ever--i can't even run that long anymore :'(

and i don't even know how much i weigh, but i actually wanna gain some weight. i try to drink lots milk--i really love milk--but i also need to eat a lot of other stuff, but i just don't do that. i'm so lazy :-\

what kind of cardio excercises do you?

I've very lax on Cardio, I actually barely do it. Its the main reason why I still have a bulky look instead of toned.

The reason I don't touch cardio as much is due to what happens when you build lean muscle mass. As you build more and more muscle, the body requires more and more energy to sustain the muscles. So it starts pulling from your stored fat cells. The changes are way slower than from doing cardio but it does happen.

I'll have to pull up some before and after pictures sometime in the future but you can pretty much tell in my face.

Also, with milk, yeah you've got the right idea with that. I'm trying to drink milk constantly due to its positive effects with muscle building. The type of protein in milk (Casein) is slow released (when compared to Whey) and has a very high value when it comes to how much of the protein the body absorbs.

Your going to have to choose whether you want to get skinny quick and build up your body after or build muscle now and leverage weight loss in some way. I personally chose to weightlift and put cardio to the side.

I've read that milk proteins break down when exposed to light, so it's apparently best to buy it in opaque containers (since on store shelves of course it will be exposed to light).

But I'm going to start my own bulking diet at the end of the month. I'm glad I looked up Rippetoe's method because milk is fucking delicious. And this way sugars don't comprise the majority of my macronutrient intake (no more cheap mass gainers 4 me!). But holy shit this will get expensive quick.
