Geometry Wars Galaxies isn't exactly encouraging to a Wii owner who wants a long-term polygamous relationship.
It's bad enough that the only joy I'm finding with the Wii is a near 20 years old 16-bit game.
Now all I can look forward to are Xbox Live Arcade's hand me downs?
Seriously?
I mean, really?
I appreciate all other suggestions and will try them out for the seven day return period if I can find them used at a GameStop.
Super Mario Galaxy just was not inspiring to me at all, and every second I played it I couldn't help but feel the experience would be much smoother and much more tolerable if they had just kept traditional controls... at least let me use the Classic controller as an option. Or GameCube controller. Something. Anything. Anything but waggle.
Twilight Princess just had me herding sheep, jumping fences on a horse, and trying to retrieve runaway cats from the get go. That was too much of an onslaught of RPG crap for me. I had to shake my head in disbelief at the grim reality that Miyamoto let that pass for a Zelda game.
And as for Brawl... it wasn't that bad. Some of the stages are actually really fun to battle in. I just don't get together with my Nintentard friends that much anymore, and I still haven't bothered getting a Wii friend code or whatever the shit it is they want me to do or get in order to be able to play an online multiplayer game.
Anyway, hey swaggaz, thank you for answering my question. I believe the Wii actually came with rechargeable batteries, and I still have them (goes to show how much I actually don't play the Wii). The only question now is what recharger should I get? Should I be aware of any product features, brand, etc.?
RE4 on Wii was excellent, I enjoyed it a lot, but it's not like a new game in the sense that a new game is a new game. You know what I mean? I'll check out the Metroid Prime games, though. Guess I'll need to buy a GameCube memory card and controller now, too. Shit.
