What difficulty should I start on? Do you get more achievements with the higher difficulties?

Maybe I am just used to the easy Mercs 2 achievements, but this one doesn't give them up as easy.

I have more than 2 and I'm 10 hours in to IU.  Ones I remember (other than the ones for finishing each major 'dungeon'):

-Kill 2000 enemies
-Surprise an enemy 10 times
-Get Surprised 10 times

I actually forgot the rest, but I have more.

Well its just something you need to do during boss fights. Like hitting certain objects in the field, or hitting a boss from a certain direction or something of that nature. So at the very least keep an eye out for those opportunities.

The dinner dance ruined that entire scene for me.  Raw sexual tension ruined by kids, yet again.

And I have been running around for 20 minutes, not in a combat zone, but a damn town, and I can't find a stupid save point.

opening IU has been the most fun i've had in weeks with a game because amazon triple shrink wrapped it.

a wrap to bundle the foil and game together. a wrap for the foil. and finally, the game shrink wrap.

So far there are 5 women (well, one is a girl) that wanna bang Capell.  This isn't like random alluding or anything like that, because they all straight up just say they want him.  The chick from the dinner clip says at one point that he wants her to practice on her (and this isn't including the 'anything' she says he can do with her).

To be fair, one of the women also seems to want Edward, but you can't blame her.  Edward is the best character.

Yea and its awesome to see that a main character not so clueless about the request and at least imply hes thinking about that.

Capell seems to always be thinking about these acts  :lol

the dance made the clip though.

The dance was awful, and there are a lot of cut scenes that are really bad.  A bit into the second disk has some of the worst and most redundant shit I have ever seen in a jrpg.

This game isn't really that good, but it has its moments like with Vesplume Tower (...about 7 or so hours in) and riding a norbear, and the combat and music are great.  I would say the world is also pretty good, but not for this type of game.  This game would have been amazing as a multiplayer loot game.

I don't know if more development time would have really fixed the problems.

And just now there was a 6th woman added to Capells list of ladies.

According to Error on GAF...

So... I just discovered you could lock on targets and the camera will focus on that target without having to babysit it.

Press the right analog stick. if you have set on Auto, once you kill an enemy it'll automatically target another enemy. pretty useful.

good for bosses that love disappearing/reappearing, too.

check to see if that works

You could always set it to auto in the menu and it locks on the target you are fighting.  I just press LB and it centers the camera.

Yeah, but I can't toggle targets (which is WTF) and it seems to "lock on" to enemies (and by lock on I mean simply highlight them, the camera does not lock to them and Capell's attacks are not directed at them either) so close to them.

It seems like the best option is to just have it on manual, then just click the right thumb stick to lock on to the enemy, but only do this for bigger enemies and not small fodder ones.  It is a bit messy.

And the previous segment just had MGS4 5th act level of cut scenes going on.  The story is actually pretty decent outside of the monotonous delivery.

Those are actually weird because they pretty much disappear later on.  It got to the point where I was shocked to see one just recently.  I still think the worst is how terrible the lip sync is.

Can't wait to play Vesperia tomorrow.  If it isn't good and I'm not gay for something called Yuri, then you all tricked me.
