Gawd the Redskins are really shitty, aren't they? Five minutes and the G Men score pretty easily, with Eli rushing for a TD of all things.

I think I might miss the entire NFL season: I don't have a television, and it's not like I leave my apartment unless I have to. Though, to be honest, I had lost most of my interest in sports after the Mavericks blew the 2006 NBA finals.

You know who's awesome, tho?  Brandon fucking Jacobs.  It's a shame he can't stay healthy or he might rush for 3000 yards a season or something distinguished mentally-challenged.  Anyone catch the hit he put on Laron Landry earlier?  WHAM.  Ran right THROUGH a big, tough safety on a 17 yard gain.

Yeah, mine too.  He went down in the first quarter with a leg injury.  His return is "questionable".  The worst part of the news is that Matt Cassel has been damn good in relief.  Go pick him up just in case.

I'm 11-2 so far in my pick 'em league this week. I figured the Pats would win, but not by 17 points, so I made them my eliminator for the week, but took KC and the points.

I can't believe I took San Diego winning by 9.5 points. Since they weren't going to cover even if they won at the end of the game, I'm thrilled they lost at the last second.  :lol

Brady out for the season with an ACL tear.

This is disastrous news for me in my money league, which is a dynasty fantasy league.  We get to keep up to 10 players from last year's roster, and I had Brady, Moss and Welker.  Well, Moss will still probably be good but Welker will probably suck now.  And since we start 2 QBs, my qb situation is now Old Man Favre, Jay Cutler and Brody Croyle- who also got hurt and sucks anyway.  So twice this year I will have to start Brody Croyle during bye weeks.  If he's even the starter.

People hate Brady (mostly) because of his fans and his coach.

This and the fact that they are jealous that he isnt part of their team.

But as a Falcons fan, I'm happy with Turner and Ryan so far.

I loved Brady.  He was my favorite fantasy player.  He broke my heart and I owned two e-jerseys of his.  He's soured me on white quarterbacks for the forseeable future.
