If it's anything like watching a movie on a 120hz TV FUGGEDABOUDIT. Shit looks like home videos.

watched Death Trap over the weekend and it is still a great little thriller with perhaps one too many twists in the finale.

120hz TVs look like that because they're digitally adding frames and blur to 24fps footage. The Hobbit was filmed in 48fps so if doesn't look like that.

I meant the smoothness, not the blurriness. Everything looks cheap. 24fps IS the cinematic feel (cgi movies excluded).

Looks more interesting than Star Trek into DARKNESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS at least.

I'm still convinced it was ghost-directed by Terrence Malick, though.

Looks pretty good. Glad they're going with the Superman that's tortured from isolation from his people, loneliness, and living with people that really aren't like him rather than gun-ho I can do anything Supes. Making Superman a conflicted character always makes interesting stories. Looks like they've learned a thing or two from Grant Morrison Action Comics run.

Looks like they didn't learn anything from the last SUPERMAN IS SAD movie.  Plus Zach Snyder.  Looks like this one can be written off pretty early.

Superman Returns suffers from "Hey, guys, remember how good Superman 1978 was? Well this is pretty good, too! Honest!"

It had some good parts to it, but it wasn't as good as Batman Begins.

Michael Shannon looks goofy with his evil beard.  It looks like it can be fine.  The look of Superman (actor and costume design) is really great.  Overall the cast is pretty great.  People are so willing to sign onto these comic movies these days, for better or worse.

Superman as a kid is boring.  Existential crisis Superman and Peaceful Alien Introducing Himself to the Earth Superman look interesting.  The part where he has to punch Michael Shannon, I dunno, I guess he needs someone to punch in the movie.  Could have some nice action to it.

And it's already more entertaining than Superman Returns.  Creepy Stalker, Home Wrecker Superman is boring.  He ruins a cool plane to save some humans at one point.  When he's powerless, he cries out "I'm still Superman!" And his costume made him look like sky blue flavor toothpaste.

Man Superman Returns was bad.  the first maybe 15 minutes were cool, and then it just sucked.  What's worse it was trying to live up to a movie that starred Margo Kidder, Marlon Brando, Gene Hackman and Christopher Reeve with a movie that had some guy, that one girl and Kevin Spacey in it.  Jesus.

Not quite sure how the explosions of bodies work, but it was great.

JJ Abrams was going to make a Superman movie where Krypton didn't blow up and Luthor was Supermans ever brother from Krypton.

If Snyder doesn't explode Krypton he deserves a not so slow motion kick to the balls.

The mechs have actual designs instead of just being a bunch of metal thrown into a hunk pile and formed into the shape of a biped.

Also, Idris Elba. And they dont have him doing a terrible southern accent.

"To fight monsters, we created monsters." isn't that bad compared to more recent taglines.

The lumbering movement of the mechs remind me of Big O.  And it looks like they're controlled G Gundam style by mimicking the pilot's movements.

don't get your hopes up

Travis Beacham wrote an early version of the Clash of the Titans script, which was later rewritten by Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi. Pacific Rim was a rough draft when Del Toro got involved and he helped flesh it out into a full screenplay.

In other words, faulty logic is faulty.
