This game really is CoD4 in WW2, but it's still awesome. One thing I like is how the weapons seem more balanced in this than in CoD4; you don't see everyone with an M4 or just the general assault rifle. I am sticking with the Thompson for now since I like close to mid range combat. The three levels I've played in the beta are all pretty bad. The tank one is just horrible with the only plus being that you can punk out idiots by popping out of the tank as they take out the det. packs and killing them all. The Japanese daytime one is also pretty bad. The nighttime Japanese one is the best so far.

Oh, and the dogs are awesome and last stand still sucks.

And the best part about the dogs is timing it so you can stab them as they lunge at you. So satisfying.

This is also a bit random, but I was playing with a bunch of French guys and it was a totally new experience for me. Instead of racist remarks and cursing, all I heard were these guys saying "hello" and "thank you" in French as they killed the enemy. It was bizarre.

Even though I am enjoying the beta, I probably won't be buying this game when it comes out. It really is exactly like CoD4. The change to WW2 hardly affected anything in the game from changing outside of swapping the Helicopter from the dogs. The only thing that would sell me on it is the strong single player impressions since I found that aspect of CoD4 weak. I mean, if I ever really get the urge to play Call of Duty multiplayer the games are basically interchangeable for me.

its pretty awesome, attack dogs are scary but so is the sound artillery make

I have already encountered people glitching to get under the maps somehow and can confirm this thanks to the killcam

cheaters were trying to justify it by repeating "its a beta, dont bitch" when the match was over and people were pissed off

does feel like cod4+ww2 but its good so far

Maybe I'm getting too old for MP FPS games online

I was barely able to squeeze off a couple of shots before whoever I was shooting at killed me, wasn't much fun hitting that X button over and over again

I used to be okay at these, at least on PC, I'd usually be about mid-level stats-wise at the end of COD and BF1942 games

But I was at the bottom of the list in every game I played today

Just play more. I had that same problem when I played at first. I wasn't used to the WWII atmosphere over the modern day gunplay. For a while there, I thought the guns' accuracies were horrible. I couldn't shoot jack with a thompson. Just play more and wait until you get the BAR. That gun is a beast.

Ah, I didn't know that. You rank up so fast in it that I couldn't tell what weapons I started with and what weapons I gained. I do know that I couldn't play for crap until I got to rank 4 and was able to make my own classes. I want stopping power on everything, heh.

I liked the Thompson and mp44 about the same, but in my last moments of playing I was doing a the rifle class. I think the rifles are the best in this game.
