can't sleep [clowns will eat me]
« on: October 12, 2008, 04:16:10 AM »
I have to be awake in 3 hours. Is there even a point to going to bed now? I laid in my bed for like an hour but my mind is RACING and I can't sleep.

Just lay in bed, at least you'll get some kind of rest.

put your computer to sleep, turn off the lights except for the one at your bedside, grab a book, preferably a boring one, and presto, sleepy time.

And yes, its worth it to get some sleep, even if its only for an hour or so.  You'll be feeling it tomorrow no matter what, and you'll be cherishing whatever sleep you can grab, so staunch the later mental bleeding and get some rest.  Yeah?

I got 2 hours, maybe a little more.

Now I'm off to see my friend's little girl be Christened (I think that's the term--they're Episcopalian, but it's pretty much the same thing as a Baptism).

Babies! :heartbeat
