The wall jump was a bit annoying until I realized how simple it was. L1 (hold to go higher/further), R1, L1. It can get more complex when you want to build up on a corner and go off one wall, then it would be L1, L1, R1, L1. Sometimes you also need to lift up your legs. One point in the second time trial area you need to to L1, L1, R1, L1, L2.
And I don't think the game was build for the PS3 controller, but I would hope they include other controller options for the 360 version. I don't see why it could be Left Trigger = down, Right trigger = up; left bumper = 180, right bumper = combat.
i rolled my eyes as well when i realized i wasted 60 bucks.
DMC4 had a demo for both systems before it released.
