Just to add my two cents, exploiting a loophole in the purchase process of a Microsoft product to obtain a piece of data that you should not have otherwise is in all sense of the word stealing.What Microsoft can do is fix the problem and maybe even ban the people who got it free since you are after all stealing and breaking the xbox live terms of use, or maybe something a little less extreme and deduct 500ms points from the accounts of people who have points available or deduct some cash if you have a credit card linked.If microsoft choose to punish those who got it free then please don't return here and complain, you simply screwed yourself for being too cheap and stealing.
