the only list that matters :(

so my daughter came back from preschool with a construction paper turkey that listed, in order, the five things she was the most thankful for, as follows:

that's right; i am valued LESS than citrus fruits and perambulatory motion by my own progeny. points to her for buttering up the institution with her first pick, though!

edit: i kinda question the validity of this list, though, since "stuart little," her favorite movie AND her imaginary friend, didn't make the cut.

It would hurt to be listed below a delivery vessel for vitamin C in your own child's Thanksgiving list, but then she also lists cars, which (at least for the moment) you've got the keys for. By next Thanksgiving you'll have bartered your way up to a cozy #3 spot, I think.

Also, at least "gutting and cleaning fish" didn't make the list.
