Concentrate on upping the s. links of your team members first, you get tangible benefits in battle for doing so. Also whenever you get the chance, work on upping the s. links for Nanako/Dojima. Make sure you get a job at the hospital so the slutty nurse can jump your bones, lol.

The real mystery is why did they feel the need to like, reuse the Raidou Kuzunoha design. I know SMT recycles monster models but THIS IS RIDICULOUS.

Keep spending time with her and always have a corresponding persona with you. If you give her romantic responses along the way, when you max out your social link you can take her back to your room.

i've tried this fucking hour-long battle of attrition THRICE now, and got wiped in the final stretch each time. my party is 45 and i have some awesome personas, but he is a distinguished mentally-challenged hp sink AND he gets two attacks per round. argh!

I used

a Black Frost, which if you fuse one now should get enough Fool EXP to learn Agidyne, Fire Amp, and Mind Charge. (If he doesn't get Mind Charge, he'll just be a level or so away from it, and it shouldn't take long to grind enough EXP to learn it. A Mind Charged Agidyne with the Fire Amp on (and maybe a Fire Vow accessory, if you have one) will do 400-450 damage, enough to destroy the shell when he's rebuilding it. If he's got his Red Wall up, you can have Yukiko Fire Break it so he doesn't resist.

During the process of charging up for the Agidyne, I suggest (if you can) having one of your party members use some buffing items or skills. Mitsuo will sometimes waste a turn Dekaja'ing it, and every turn he's doing that is a turn he's not setting up Fear status or rebuilding his shell.

i beat him earlier today (4th try)

black frost was a great suggestion (thanks debaser). mind charge plus agilao hits hard

basically whatever wall he puts up will be the attack hes gonna use (red wall=fire attack, so you will block with those weak against fire and pummel him with the rest)

whens hes rebuilding his defense focus completely on attacking if possible, status effects can be a real pain though.
If you let anyone have fear too long he will use ghastly wail which means instant death to those with fear. me patra helps a bit with fear, use royal jellys to heal enervation otherwise your sp will be sapped in no time, but you dont have to worry about that if you dont let him rebuild. If he does rebuild perpare for gigadyne to fuck your party up. you can take him I beat at lvl 43

Note that the first time I tried this dungeon, I got raped by floor 3. Second time I got killed on 8-9 by a rare monster. This time, I rocked it, but it was a rather narrow win.

Here's a question for all you who played P3 and P4. I did not play P3, but P4 is shaping up to be one of the most enjoyable games I've played in a long long time. I think what I love most about P4 is the story telling and the characters. When I beat P4, I'm thinking of picking up P3 FES to see what I missed. Do you think I'll enjoy P3 as much as P4?

I disagree, mostly since P4 is HARDER than P3 so having control of each party member is kind of necessary. In P3, you can have the main character rock everything since your SP will be replenished just by visiting the lobby. Also he said he liked the characters and story telling in P4, and while I prefer the P4 cast to the P3 cast they weren't terrible. They just didn't have Teddie.

in P4 I really only take control over my team mates in battle during boss fights. Other than that I just let them do their thing. The battles go quicker that way and the AI works pretty well.
