I know, i actually tried to get away before starting to cut some grass. I was like "Fuck this shit, i'm getting out of here".
But i couldn't. And everything then leading up to the ending, was me doing something i really didn't want to fucking do. I understand there's something mildly interesting about that feeling, the desire of the character vs the will of the player, and it does provoke an emotional response, but i don't think it's the emotional response i wanted to have.
Cause right now i'm like, me and Prince are over, fuck that douche, the guy does anything for a pair of legs. She was a nice gal, very interesting and all that but cmon man, nothing happened.
I just realized that there was never a Prince in this game and Nathan Drake didn't have a name
and I think that the ending could actually be cool if they borrow the story from Versus in that spoiler (click to show/hide)
it's basically an endless battle that keeps resetting with positions changed, like this time around Nathan Drake is the one Eleka runs away from and he is the one Ahriman controls in the sequel. That would be pretty dumb actually, but they already had a dumb ending, so go for the bronze.
He is a prince, all you gotta do is read between the lines. His backstory says a lot. A war when he was a kid, his parents sent him away for safety, he grew up and went looking for adventure. He's always coy about his background, which means he wants to hide who he really is, if he was a typical thief he would have no prob saying how he grew up and shit.
He's a prince, but probably only by bloodline, as his supposed kingdom is probably another one's kingdom now.
