I was thinking of making a twitter account to serve as a directory of evilbore people who are on Twitter.

Yup. There's a Facebook app for Twitter that allows your Facebook status to be changed to whatever your Twitter status is. All I have to do is update my Twitter status using either the website or a text message from my phone and it updates my Facebook status too. Nifty.

Basically. I prefer this to other online tools because its is so simple and not cluttered with features. Facebook is way too cluttered.

I like twitter, because it takes out all the bullshit I don't like (applications and such) and keeps what I like; easy way to be up to date with people and share thoughts/ideas in a open-ended way.

i don't get the twitter hate; the content is no more banal or trivial than on most message boards. i've only been on it for a week or so and it's already become part of my life. I enjoy waking up to a stream of new tweets from folks all over the world. Stephen Fry's tweets alone are worth signing up for. And you're never short of links to check out.
