Did Ben really just kill Locke after hearing about Eloise Hawking? I'm confused.

Maybe Alpert told Ben that he had to be the one to kill Locke rather than Locke kill himself or something. I don't know. All I know is that I want to hate Ben and I want to hate Widmore and this damn show is making it hard for me to choose an antagonist to put some hate behind.

Eloise could have told Ben that he needs to recreate the scenario, like she told Jack. And when Ben heard Locke needed to go to Eloise - who would have told him the same thing - Ben just decided to get things started.

i always give it a chance because the episodes usually starts off with good, 70s rock, but then 5 minutes in i lose all interest.

i hope that 'Castle' show about the sassy cop and the cigarillo writer gets cancelled after the first episode.

Episode was pretty filler-ish, mostly because we already knew that Ben was going to live. Nice to know what happened with Aaron though, and the 10 seconds of Locke/Ben at the end almost made up for the 30 minutes Kate spent crying her eyes out. Next week will definitely be hawt. Oh, and I'm glad they had the Hurley/Miles scene -- maybe now I won't have to listen to distinguished mentally-challenged fellows on /tv/ and GAF debate the simple time-travel mechanics they've laid out.

just because richard said ''he'll forget this ever happened,'' doesn't necessarily mean he'll forget everything, including sayid shooting him. i think you guys are jumping to conclusions with this one--they even showed hurley and miles discussing that. and after that scene, it'd be too easy for the writers to just let him forget everything but whatever.
