in my experience, aristocracy has more to do with unqualified persons getting jobs as opposed to some kind of affirmative action or other race based employment

True story: the only black person I've ever worked in Japan with quit his job after being called a distinguished black fellow to his face by 3 separate people. All 3 were Director-level or above at the firm, which is one of the biggest on Wall St. And that wasn't even why he quit - the racism was so engrained that his job was effectively impossible because he couldn't get anyone to take him seriously despite his formidable qualifications and intellect. To him, them saying it out loud wasn't even shocking, because it had been clear to him for a long time how they felt and why they did so. He could have destroyed them with a lawsuit but just wanted to wash his hands of them.

There is a happy ending though -  now he's kicking ass for the world's largest hedge fund. Which is one of our clients so all of a sudden, the aforementioned assholes now have to kiss his ass.

So yeah, go fuck yourself Beardo. You don't know shit about what people have been going through.

The amount of jobs awarded because of nepotism, fraternities, sororities, etc. have probably far outweighed jobs awarded due to affirmative action

Affirmative action in the job market should succeed in getting over qualified workers past glass ceilings in certain areas.  In the educational field, it's bullshit that is getting students into schools that they're under qualified for.  That's because there's a lot of controversy and embarrassment surrounding filing for affirmative action in the job market while bragging about your minority great-grandparents on college applications is normal and somehow fair.
