you'll have to download google talk, add borecastcomments@gmail.com as a contact, then leave the voicemail through the google talk client (we might need to approve you first, I dunno) - voice mails will be emailed to us an audio file

that's the best workaround i could find other than paying for some type of voicemail service

For right now we're just going to be using voice mail. As I wrote before, skype got kind of laggy with two people, and we're recording our next show with a guest, so we need to see how bad the lag gets before we start taking call-ins.

For now, download Google Talk, add borecastcomments@gmail.com as a contact, and leave us a voice mail. It'll save as an mp3 file we can use on the show. We just got our first voicemail

tonight, so I know it works. Anyone who wants to leave a voice mail message for inclusion in the second show should do so by Tuesday the 3rd.

As for weekly, I have a couple of ideas, but I'll bounce them off Prole before I go spouting off here.

Segment idea: Please explain the allure of the JPRG. Even some of the posters here that I most respect seem inexplicably attracted to these tepid mishmashes of archaic battle systems, animu wankery, mindless dungeon grinding, and teen fantasy indulgence. And they aren't even loli-pedo-philes!

I'd come on to offer the anti-JRPG counterpoint, but I haven't played any recently enough to defend my admittedly shaky prejudices.
