borecast episode 1 starring eel o'brian and myself is available at the above link. in it, we discuss retail delinquency, netbooks, and depressing people. it may not be a great podcast -- or even a good one -- but at least we don't talk about the playstation 3's market position and/or killzone 2. unfortunately, we also namedrop father_mike purely by accident, and i tell a pretty shameful story from my youth. eel is the southern-fried voice, and i'm the histrionic one.

Finished listening to it.

1) Most of the appeal seemed to lie in the fact that you can put the voices to the names now. You should have a rotating third or at least a semi regular rotation of other EB members for future podcasts. Assuming any more than 3 or 4 episodes will ever get made.

2) The content was ok. Talking about netbooks for a half hour got too boring. More variety!

It is still better than most of the podcasts I've come across. This is a pretty good start. Good jon guys.
