Cajole is right. Athletes, if it's possible, are often more clueless than the writers who cover them.

I dunno if they'll have the money after springing for a one year, 10 million deal for... Ben Sheets.  I bet Damon sucks it up and goes back to the Skankees for way less than what Boras wants.  I mean, Melk-dud isn't there clogging up an outfield spot anymore (sigh) so I bet he could get good playing time.  Plus Damon's value drops anywhere where he doesn't have that ridiculous right field porch to hit pop fly homers into.

I'd say the Nats should be good for 74ish wins this year.  80+ is pushing the bounds of reality, tho.

I do like where they have the Mets finishing.  :D

Hell yeah, the Rangers are gonna go somewhere this year with Nolan Ryan in and broke-ass Tom Hicks out. I hate that they had to get rid of Millwood, but I still think their pitching will be fairly solid (at least by Rangers standards).

NEW YORK -- Major League Baseball's licensing wing is calling out a baseball card maker for allegedly stealing trademarks.

Major League Baseball Properties Inc. filed a trademark lawsuit seeking unspecified damages against The Upper Deck Co. Inc. on Monday in federal court in Manhattan.

The lawsuit said Upper Deck is continuing to sell baseball cards featuring professional baseball players even though the company is no longer licensed to show MLB trademarks. Major League Baseball Properties began this year to license only The Topps Co. Inc. in a bid to increase its revenues from the cards.

MLB Properties is indirectly owned by the 30 major league clubs and acts as their licensing agent.

I haven't collected baseball cards since the mid 90s, but that's still pretty "whoa"-inducing.

STFU, Federwang.  You don't have to.

Alright, both leagues are registered.  Roto draft is Sunday March 14th at 4 pm Eastern time, H2H is Sunday March 21st at 4 pm.

***FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, DO NOT FUCKING PM ME FOR THE LEAGUE INFO IF YOU CAN'T MAKE THE DRAFT OR IF YOU'RE GONNA FUCKING FORGET ABOUT IT OR IF YOU'RE GONNA LOSE INTEREST 1/3 OF THE WAY THROUGH THE SEASON***
