That's feasible, installing the latter DDVDs would actually be cool. So install disk 2 and 3 and as you said, use disk 1 as a boot disk.

The 60fps battles run in low res, but when you're running around on the field and watching cutscenes it appears to be proper crispy HD

I'm just wondering what happened to the 4000% bloom in all the early shots. The lighting looks pretty flat in the battle shot captures I've seen posted around.

Oh I'm sorry, I was talking about games that were playable. As far as good looking... well, all three still looked better than this.

My mistake. I thought people were just judging based on how it looks since it's probably not out yet (maybe in Japan, I don't know).

If we are talking about jrpg that play well, Vesperia is the best.

It looks like the whole "disk change" thing really happens when your on the last disc and you want to go back to eariler sections of the game.

Hopefully its a non-issue, I'll probably get most of the shit done when its accessible but I'm sure there will be those souls that get to the 3rd disk, go back to the first, go back to the third and find out they missed something else on the first

I'm pretty sure he ebayed it. I traded in 3 games (bioshock, viva pinata and enchanted arms which i never bothered playing more than like 20 minutes) and only ended up having to pay like $3 for it at GS.

Got a better look at the achievements

+ Story related ones
- Multiple difficulty ones (no new game+?)
+ Only have to beat the bonus bosses once and thats it (no stupid Infinite Undiscovery)
- Missable items/monsters? (unconfirmed)
- Battle Trophies, yawn
- Character Endings for each character (no idea how to do this, or if it requires many, many multiple playthroughs)

Touched down on the first planet, fought the first 'actual' battle (loving combat so far, it plays very similar to a more recent Tales title, but even faster and more responsive, though I can't pull off blindsides as much as I would like, as of now), so far this game rawx, only complaint is some of the VA is sketchy (well, Welch's), and the camera rotates WAY too fast when you are using the right analog stick. I think the concept of the game is awesome and I'm dying to play more.
