Best since Wrath of Khan. yeah, we'll see about that...
Considering Undiscovered Country is better than Wrath of Khan, this creates a TIME PARADOX
Exactly.
Cheebs makes a good point that the atmosphere in which they watched the movie has doutblessly affected their opinions on it.
Obviously, I have made no secret of my skepticism of this movie, but I will likely see it opening night, with hopefully an open mind. I will hope that it is good.
But I see almost no way for it to surpass the Wrath of Khan, First Contact, or even The Voyage Home in my eyes. It will doubtlessly have superior action, but there is no way that this "new" Kirk/Spock/McCoy will come close to matching the performance of the originals, nor most of the rest of the cast. (though I think the idea of Simon Pegg as Scotty is an inspired choice. oh, and Bruce Greenwood as Pike? okay, that should be good too)
