Today was PS3 day for me. I didn't boot up my 360, but I might in a minute just to see if the HD Remix patch is up.
Today was also PATCH DAY-- I downloaded patches for HD Remix, MGO, and Killzone 2, and it took longer than it should have for all of them. -_- PSN just sucks compared to 360, I'm sorry...it does. The wait for MGO in particular was ridiculously, ridiculously, ludicrously long. When I got the three-expansion pack download deal last week, it took half a day to download the previous patch, since I went the torrent route. This time I did it from the server, and it still took hours. Fucking insane.
But back to more positive things, I played MGO, HD Remix, Killzone 2 (multiplayer), Musou Orochi Z, and then some Soul Calibur IV. It's been months since I played the latter, and while I didn't beat any high-level players, I got really close...played one guy with level 88 and he barely beat me each time, and some 100 and 200+ guys that sadly (for them) also went to round three for both of us. I LOL'd. The game obviously takes skill to be at the top, but at the same time, it's just so "broken" in terms of how easy it is for a beginner or just generally clueless player to do well in comparison to a 2D fighter. Despite my whuppings I still managed to gain a rank in the end.
I went back to SF4 after this and whupped some ass of my own with Miss Li. One match I forgot who I was and picked Abel...the other guy picked Chun and I thought it was me! Same color and everything, LOL! I still got him though.
