There is a Stockhausen piece called Tierkreis, which I wish I could say I'd heard of before discovering that its Wikipedia page is in fact the first Google hit for Tierkreis.  It is apparently German for the Zodiac, but I'd prefer to think the Suikoden game is named after the Stockhausen piece which of course makes it the coolest game title ever.

edit: the word apparently translates literally to "animal circle", which would make sense for Zodiac.  i dunno where prole is getting the Jesus thing.

yeah the voice acting is like Speed Racer fast, what the fuck.

and you can use the "try out (?) equipment" option at the stores to see if whatever you're buying is an improvement compared to what you have equipped. still you'd figure that they'd at least have an in-game blurb to explain this shit.

just finished replaying the game and getting the 108 stars of whatever. ok game overall, didn't mind the voice acting as I'm a huge fan of terrible voice work anyways (i.e., Shenmue II)
