Could never get into this game or the general craziness of the Vs. Series; I'm more of a SF2 Classic, Vampire, Alpha, and 3s fan. But I had fun with this game in arcades back in the day.

Happy for the its fan, though. It looks like it's getting a decent treatment.

True, but HD Remix also had a beta with online play before that.

The MvC2 demo is "eh." Could stand to be a better port, I think. It looks good on my monitor with the crisp setting, but I noticed that the background is "unfinished" and cuts off a little too early in 16:9, got some SLOWDOWN (wtf) when doing some super moves (canceling from one into another character's), and the voices are a bit muffled.

I like how the demo has the options for scoreboard and player matches highlighted, then when you select them it goes to an "upgrade" screen telling you about the full release.

I was real excited for this but the upscaled graphics of the PS3 demo didn't look too hot.

Maybe it's due to excessive filtering of the sprites? 1UP said that you could turn them off.

Turn off the filtering and it looks

. I had horrible blurring on my monitor when I played it with unfiltered sprites.

They picked a bad time to release this with Blaz Blue and KOF XII coming out.
