My suggestions range from electronic, to noise rock, to garage pop, to Fang Island's self-styled "music that sounds like everyone high-fiving," to that nu-jazz. That Fang Island album makes me feel like I'm listening to a non-corny Sonic Adventure album.

I'm not the best person to ask for impressions, but I really like it on first listen. The 2nd half has a good amount of slow songs though. They're good, but I'm not a big fan of slow shit. The first half (everything up until War of the Roses) is much stronger, imo.

Edit: Tracks 2-4 is like one great big song. I love it.

That's who I saw them with. Toro y Moi is playing with a band now and his live show is considerably more fleshed out than it was when I saw him solo a few months ago. He played some new stuff too which was quite good.

About the freeleech, how does it work? Just leave it all night and seed? It takes FOREVER to seed ANYTHING on what.cd so i'm hoping free leeches are different.

Anything marked as freeleech (e.g., the staff picks on the front page) that you download will have no negative effect on your ratio, but you still get upload credit from seeding it. All the freeleech stuff really helps boost your ratio because it's basically free upload. If you have the HDD space then you can download every format (V0, V2, FLAC, AAC, etc) of each album on freeleech for even bigger returns with no penalty.

When I was new and trying to get a good buffer I'd just leave my computer on 24/7, seeding everything that I'd ever downloaded

Also, it's smart to grab a top ten torrent to try and bump up your ratio if you're downloading shit no one else is. Gives you some boosted ratio points.

How do you seed? do you cap or just leave it on default? Right now the stuff I'm seeding from the freeleech is only 0.1 kb/s
