-Burial
-Ulrich Schnauss
-Four Tet
-Autechre (never really took a listen myself but I've heard good things about them)

I second BT's recommendation for Glass Candy and Chromatics. If only because I love their record label name, "Italians Do It Better".

Disappointing. He really needs to work with better rappers.

Not many people can claim to have had a better year run than DOOM. Vaudeville Villain, Madvillainy, and Mm..Food back to back to back 2003-2004. This live album was recorded after Mm..Food's release, but was just released this year. It's alright, nothing amazing but a decent fix for any starving DOOM fan.

Gotta love the taste of some GAF users, found out about Mirah from the "Sexiest female vocals" thread...

The female vocalist does things vocally and working the melody that just pulls at you. Its like hearing a bland by the numbers rendition of some good jam and then hearing the same song by a talented singer that knows how to inject some emotion and just makes it their own.

Saw Arcade Fire last night for the first time since 2005... WOW. They really know how to put on a highly enjoyable arena rock show. What was really cool was how the crowd was more excited by the songs off Funeral than Neon Bible or The Suburbs.

Should've started with Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain. Much more accessible album that kinda leads right into Slanted And Enchanted.
