I actually have never been to Napa, but i've spent a fair amount in Sonoma. Driving to and from Napa is a fucking pain. There is some restaurants I want to try out however.

I totally forgot about the horrendous Bay Area traffic. One time I was 2 hrs late for a dinner because I underestimated the traffic between the East Bay and SF.

July or August is best weather. But if you come in over Labor Day weekend you have your choice of PAX or Bumbershoot. To go along with your Wine Tour.
