Cohen, how often do you go to Napa?  

Even though I don't drink, touring through the beautiful vineyards at Napa was a great experience.  Food was pretty nice up there as well.

Do you have any idea where "Skaggs Island" or "Mare Island" are / were? I used to live inbetween Napa and Sonoma on those two naval bases, but they were both shuttered during the 90s and now you can't even find them on googlemaps!

I spent a few days down in California wine country, I liked Napa much more than Sonoma.

Oh, yeah.  I totally forgot about the horrendous Bay Area traffic.  One time I was 2 hrs late for a dinner because I underestimated the traffic between the East Bay and SF.

Although i could come in the rainy season and spiral into a Bloodwake style faux-depression that would end with hilarious facebook consequences.

You should come in July and celebrate the 4th with us. My buddy lives right on Lake Union, and his building has a dock that juts out over the water. The big firework barge is directly in front of said dock, so we BBQ and drink all day long.
