The veterans and people who have been here a good while definitely don't stick on the GAF connection but new users tend to think this is some Dead Zone when banned from GAF. It would be better to get away from that (what I consider to be) stigma. Its all, Internet serious business and all but still. This is just how I feel, this isn't the feeling of the general admins/moderation.

Admittedly I did joined when I got banned, made one post about that banning, then posted regularly ever since. Getting banned just made me put in the effort of signing up, which was incredibly quick and painless. I've always been surprised when people have trouble signing up for gaf or here. I was approved for my gaf account about 5 minutes after signing up; this account after a few hours.

and is there going to be a new homepage too or will it still be about Jaffe?
