whelp i did that mission and went to the new zone,the rocket launcher got unlocked but i still don't have enough junk to buy it
you know,here's how the next mission went just so you can understand why so far i really don't like it,first the game told me to kill some guys so i go there and kill them all,then it goes "DESTROY 4 SPEAKERS" so i get close to one of the speakers and i try to destroy it,first i try to use the rifle but the speaker looks unarmed,i guess i should feel lucky the rifle can at least kill soldiers let alone do some sort of damage to other things,so i try to throw an explosive charge at it,but the main character wimpy arms aren't buff enough to throw it high enough to reach the speaker
so i think "ehy the house holding the speaker is on a slope,if i destroy the slope part it should come tumble down" well turns out that the piece of the house with the speaker on it was able to float even with nothing to sustain it and this is what ruins the whole concept for me,things should come down at the slighest touch of hat,it should be like when you remove a card from a card house and instead destroying anything is like making a hole in a bunker! there is no physic engine behind it,either a thing is destroyed if you made enough holes in it and it comes tumbling down all at once or it's not destroyed and it stands no matter how physical improbable it is,fucking boom blox does a better job at satisfying my lust of making thing explode and topple down
so anyway frustated i try to reach the top of the house and three soldiers pop out of nothing and kills me... wish to retry? wait for the game to load,accept the mission again,wait for the game to save,return to the place where the mission actual takes place... just... why they can't just pop me right at the start? i'm pretty sure even saints row 2 does it,wasn't this game made by the same developers?
