Shadows of the Damned
I'm sort of taken aback by how linear this game is. It's to the point where if there are two paths and I take the wrong one, there's no going back to get items or whatever I missed. At one point I climbed a ladder, turned around, and climb down to read a poster. It's kind of annoying because there's an upgrade system based on finding red gems.
For some reason I was expecting something somewhat like like Resident Evil 4. It's not that, but it's fun. Some Alan Wake here with the light/dark stuff. If I had to make a stupid analogy, this game is Dead to Rights to Alan Wake's Max Payne.
Also, unskippable cutscenes after checkpoints are the worst
