single player is pretty boring, at least most of the side missions are. The side missions in saints row were awesome, but most of these just suck. The only good one is when they give a weapon load out and tell you to destroy something in a time limit. The rest are boring escort missions, defend this, attack that, make sure red dots on radar are gone, drive vehicle from here to here.

I'm starting to tire a bit of the formula. Destruction is fun enough, but the actual combat is both infuriating and dull, and the EDF is just a Shai-Gen clone through and through. I'm having the most fun just driving a mined vehicle through a building and blowing it up, but that's only fun for so long. The nano rifle makes long distance deconstruction possible, so that's a plus. Another plus is that the world they have created feels plausible, in all its Mars craziness.

When do I get the next walker? I just cleared Dust, and I'm roaming around Oasis right now.

I only tried out two walkers so far. The big one and the one that can jump.

Taking a break from Single Player in MP is the way to go. I haveb't touched the Single Player is days. I agree it gets a little old

Finished single player and didn't like it. I think there was supposed to be story or something pieces together all these boring missions, but I already forgot it.

Multiplayer beta and demo were great so I know the multiplayer is also great. Another case of CoD4.

Yeah, the multi is great -tough- but great! It's definitely got CoD4 syndrome with having to level up to unlock stuff, too. I like the big 14-player match types, but it takes a bit of time before you can even unlock that play type, whatsupwiththat?

While I love this game, and I mean love, I suck at it so bad.

My worthless, weak thumbs are completely incapable of aiming with any sort of accuracy or consistency. It drives me nuts. I get owned left and right by dudes I should have killed, but didn't because these worthless sausages can't push a stick in any sort of useful fashion.

I had that problem a LOT early on. I eventually learned some shit: Create an environment where you own the space. I.E.: If you've got the double barreled shotgun, don't go running around open areas. Hang out in tight spaces. Don't play to someone else's strengths. Also, PACKS. Use them. Love them. 90% if you got fucked by some dude you should have gone 1 to 1 with, it's because he has a Firepower pack. Carry a variety of weapons, swap early and swap often.

Yeah. The packs are killer.

Rhino is an obvious choice for favorite, but I think Thrust is really my preferred pack. There's just something awesome about having a super jump and a but stomp.

If Saints Row 2 is any indication, the engine will run like crap on a PC that runs Crysis admirably. Check the reviews extensively before committing to a purchase.

Those are some of the best missions in the game since they're essentially just big puzzles. The worst part of the game is trying to do the transporter missions in pro time. Those are very frustrating, tedious, and time-consuming.

Yeah, but at least it eliminates the dirty disc errors that I'm starting to get more and more often on my shitty 360.

You know, I absolutely love this game, but it's annoying how long it takes to save and load anything, especially coming off of inFamous, a game that handled saving, loading, and checkpoints better than any other open world game I've ever played.

Fuck those missions. I've already decided that I'm not going after that achievement because those missions just aren't fun to me. In contrast, I fucking love trying to beat the pro times in the demo missions and I only have four of those left for the achievement. We can do some multiplayer sometime if you want. I spent a couple hours playing random dudes and working on some achievements with a friend and it's really, really awesome.
