I got this. Updated graphics are shit and the VA is awful also. But the original version is fine. Im a bit gutted they put hints in the game as I just been bowing down and using them. Just hold x and the game will tell you what to do!  :-\

I think it looks good too. I just think it's boring and not as fun as it may have been back then.

pretty much.

the humor didn't really click with me. the amount of backtracking in the game didn't really help it either.

main positive was the voice acting, which I thought was fine

saying that, if they remake the second one, I will probably still bite.

It took a while, like, a long while, but I finally decided to sit down and play some Tales of Monkey Island. My initial impression from the screenshots was pretty low, even with Dominic Armata and some of the other cast members back on board [har-har].

Turns out, I was totally wrong. Tales of Monkey Island rocks pretty hard. I don't know if I'd put it above the first three games, but it's way better than Monkey Island 4 and I've enjoyed it a lot more than the decent-but-not-great Sam and Max episodes. Tales has a lot of the humor that made the early games so good, pretty much spot-on music, and the graphics are even starting to grow on me the more I play it. It's definitely something that looks better when you're actually playing it that an in motion-less screenshots. Right now, I'm almost done with the second episode.

Human LeChuck is so awesome. Kind of bold move, I guess, but it works so very well.

Don't have an real complaints other than some aspects of the graphics not being as good as they could be, but that's pretty minor.

And for those that don't like the mouse controls, you can use WASD to move and shift to run.

Arr, matey, that is quite the offer! Downloading now.

Also remember that today's the "Arr!" badge for Saints Row 2 online play.
