Well, then it wouldn't be "Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom" anymore, now would it?

I think the difference between me and you Lyte is that I don't play fighters at tourney or high level of play.
I don't either.

The only "tourneys" I have ever been in are the online ones.
I don't even play online usually. Just with the local circle of friends at about a medium-level of play. We learn moves, gameplay systems, strategies, but we don't do high-level of play. So every character tends to be viable in a fighter if we like them.
So in other words, you sit back with a few friends and just play. Nothing wrong with that certainly, but if you're not playing online and not outside your circle of friends, you're never going to know just how in-depth these games can get.
The best thing about fighters with this generation of consoles has been the far better online play. I like playing with my friends locally, but I don't get to do that much anymore and they often don't want to even try out everything. I love being able to get online and play with tons of other people. It has helped me to learn a hell of a lot more about these games than I ever would just playing around with friends. You decide when you've had enough because of mutual boredom amongst you all, I'd imagine.
