Okay Pavement nooblets, here's your chance to get in on "the ground floor" before the Pitchfork effect turns every internet hipster into a fucking Pavement genius for life.
j.k. I just feel like posting pavement songs.
The song that hooks everyone:

Another good one from Slanted and Enchanted:

Secret tip: Pavement's b-sides are frequently better than the songs on the albums:

Watery and Domestic is an EP
that came out after Slanted and Enchanted and before Crooked Rain, so it still has their first drummer, Gary. He's a lot more aggressive and probably more talented than Steve West:

They even have a song about how bad Steve West is at drumming (another amazing B-side):

"Cut Your Hair" was the closest they came to a number 1 single. Contrary to what happens with other bands, it's not really a hated song by "true" fans, because it's awesome:

One of the stand outs on Crooked Rain is an almost country song called Range Life. Which is weird because everything before this album was all noisy and experimental:

Silence kit is good too:

and here's where I get lazy and stop.
