2GB really doesn't sound like a big deal. It only screws Arcade users, but if you're playing an X360 with no HDD at all you kind of have to expect to get screwed anyways.

If you have a 360 with no hard drive you should be punished every way possible.

Also, as an arcade user you can install what you want from disk two.

I was talking about if you're playing with someone at home, you know, what Multiplayer really is.

If this game doesn't get bashed for that, that's ridiculous. Not everyone has a huge HD let alone a HD.

Very excited for this one.

It's one of the best examples I've ever seen of a game that scales for just about anyone on the difficulty side which is quite impressive.

They had some Forza 3 stations set up at the Texas State Fair. I didn't get to play it, some other people were already there and I didn't feel like waiting, but I got to see a couple of races and the graphics were really great.

The kid playing was terrible though, mainly, I think, because he was trying to steer with one hand due to the other being in a cast.

Have this now. Catalunya looks amazing

Some of the backgrounds are incredible. The announcer guy is fucking annoying after a very short period of time. It's probably too patronising for seasoned racers initially as well. I do like the "tips" for each race - "use your current car", "see new tracks".

Achievements get handed out like candy. 10 for 85 in less than one hours play so far.

This game is really, really good so far. They polished the crap out of it.

It does seem noticeably more forgiving than FM2 so far (currently playing with all assists off except braking line), but that might be because I'm still on the low-powered cars. The interface/game structure has got that magic suck-in factor where it just keeps presenting you with fun things to do and new treats or pats on the head every few mins. FM2 kind of failed there, I thought, especially when all the tracks started repeating.

Having said that it felt more forgiving, I actually managed to roll my Evo 8 last night

It was quite a shock...I had totally forgotten that it was possible now. Also, I got half the Achievements in 2 playing sessions yesterday - 25 out of 50

I spent most of my playtime time on the weekend making Astroboy's face. I never really tried the Forza livery editor before but once I started I couldn't stop.

The racing is awesome though.

hot productivity tip from Sho Nuff (who did some amazing stuff in FM2...) - print out a reference of the design you want and stick it to your TV/monitor as you work. It'll be really tough to get exact colors and dimensions right doing it all freehand. I was stunned at how fast he cranked stuff out 'til i learned this.

I did the first one with a DVD cover and a ruler and it took a long time, I think about six hours. Uran's face only took an extra hour since I recycled so much.

I was looking through some of the designs up on the storefront last night...not so hot so far. Disney designs with stuff that sorta looks like Mickey Mouse but all the sizes and angles are slightly off. So I didn't buy a damn thing. All my cars are plain vanilla so far

I guess we have to wait for the US and Europe to get their copies before the really hot stuff emerges. Or I have to take some time away from racing and tweaking

I think some of the anime girl stuff is very good but I'm not really into that. There's a Jerry (as in Tom & Jerry) for 1,000 which is very nicely done and an F14 Tomcat which I thought was impressive. Lots of garbage on there though.

x 10. I've only spent 38 minutes driving, yet 17 hours in the livery editor. $:-\$

I feel kind of bad because it's not helping whittle down my backlog or even get through this game, but it's a good reminder that games are supposed to fun and relaxing (which the livery editor is for me), not a chore. Every day I am busting to get home to play and I can't remember the last time a game did that.
