I got Secret of Mana which is pretty cool. The touch screen d-pad took some getting used to but I think I'm ok now.

Get APPSHOPPER as well, Scenester. Then add all these games to your wishlist. It will notify you when a game is dropped in price. Also constantly check "Popular" to see what people are getting. And read TouchArcade's "price drop" forum to see what's going on.

Well you all should try Kingdom Rush before you throw out the baby with the bathwater. I'm really not a fan of tower defense games myself but Kingdom Rush is probably the best one in years.

Chaos Rings is without a doubt the best RPG on iOS. I still want Omega to go on sale to pick it up and I REALLY want the 2nd one to release already.

Chaos Rings isnt THAT good- if anything gamelofts Vita offerings prove that most iOS games have a long way to go before theyre where they need to be. iOS succeeds by lowering expectations and leaning on the novelty of tablet gaming.

Grand Prix Story is great, I would recommend it over Game Dev Story. Pocket League Story is also excellent if you like football.

Mega Mall Story is fun initially but wears thin quickly as the new and interesting stuff is drip fed through at a very slow rate.

Yeah, it feels like it was hyped on the pixel shaders or something but its not really that .... pretty. Garish looking models and weird plasticky textures everywhere. Also really pretentious story bits you only have the option of fast forwarding through as opposed to just skipping entirely.

Groove Coaster is awesome, although flick commands are a pain. Tiny Wings reminds me of old sonic games in a good way. PikPok stuff is pretty cool for abbreviated sessions but the freemium stuff you see here and there is off putting. I'll gladly pay for no ads but don't lock away mechanical stuff that takes ridiculous point accumulation to unlock. In general if I see an app is free I avoid it.
